And now, just as you accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord, you must continue to follow him. Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness.
We’re committed to a culture of ongoing discipleship, providing opportunities for genuine learning and spiritual growth for every age and level of spiritual maturity—from young children or non-Christian seekers to experienced believers who are biblically knowledgeable—and everyone in between. Every Christian should be continually growing as a disciple of Jesus Christ.
Many of our best times helping each other grow and mature spiritually happen while we’re just hanging out and sharing our lives together. In addition to this informal, relational discipleship, we have regularly scheduled times of study, learning and discussion:
During our gatherings, we provide Children’s Church for infants through kindergarten-age children. We provide a loving, safe environment for kids to learn about the love and grace of Jesus Christ. (We plan to add a class for older kids soon. Stay tuned!)
Our youth currently meet once a month for a time of games, music, sharing and discussion about how to live as real followers of Jesus Christ. Come check it out! (Check with the church office for our next youth gathering.)
We offer periodic 6 to 8 week studies, exploring any topic or issue that can help us grow and mature as disciples of Jesus Christ. Some examples are: How to Study the Bible, What’s Prayer All About?, Sharing Our Faith, Serving Our Community. Be watching for announcements of our next study!
We also provide a weekly study and discussion group for those who want to dig more deeply into the Scriptures and relevant issues, and who don’t mind a bit of homework each week. This group meets Tuesdays, 7-9 pm, at the home of Chris & Mona Brackett. You can contact the church office for directions or more information.
The women’s Bible study meets each Tuesday at 10:00 am, in the youth room.
Welcome to The Orchard
Every few months we offer a three-week Welcome to The Orchard group for those new to the church.
