Be the Bridge: Racial Justice and Reconciliation – beginning Aug 2
Sacramento, CA

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Because of the restrictions that are necessary for meeting in person at this time, and because many of our older members and those with underlying health conditions wouldn’t be able to join us right now, we’ve decided to continue our interactive Zoom gatherings until further notice. We’ll continue to monitor and prayerfully discuss the situation. We neither want to live in fear nor be careless of each other’s well-being. We’re seeking the best way to love one another and also be loving to our community neighbors. We’re eager to enjoy worshiping together once again in person as soon as we can do this in a way that’s less restricted yet safe for all our people. For more information, please email us at info@orchardefc.org.

Our main church gathering is Saturday evening at 6:00. Feel free to come a little early for coffee and snacks, and you’re welcome to stick around after our church service to share dinner and visit with us! [Currently meeting via Zoom.]

Weekly Gatherings

Our Forum study and discussion group meets Sunday mornings at 10:00. [Currently meeting via Zoom.]

We have a women’s Bible study that meets Tuesday mornings, 10:00, in our adult/youth classroom. [Not meeting until further notice.]

We’ve devoted Tuesday evenings, 7:00, for our weekly prayer group. [Currently meeting via Zoom.]

Monthly Gatherings

The first Friday evening of the month is our Youth Night. We meet from 7:00-9:00 pm for pizza, games, Bible study and discussion. This is a great opportunity for teenagers to ask any questions on their minds and receive thoughtful answers. And we have a lot of fun! [Currently meeting via Zoom.]

Every third Tuesday, our monthly prayer gathering The Orchard Prays! meets in our worship center, 7:00-8:30 pm. This is a community-based prayer ministry intended for anyone needing prayer or committed to praying for others. Each month we’ll feature a key area ministry. We’ll hear from people representing the ministry, and then have a time of prayer focusing on their specific challenges and opportunities. To learn more about this vital prayer ministry and see a schedule of featured ministries, please see The Orchard Prays! website. [Not meeting until further notice.]

For more information on any of our study groups, see our Growing Opportunities.
